The Master in Digital Communication Leadership is awarded to the students that obtain 120 ECTS credits, including 30 for their master thesis. These credits are earned by successfully passing the examinations of the various courses and modules.
For completing the study track POLINN, the students will be awarded the academic degree of “Master of Arts”, abbreviated “MA”, jointly by PLUS (Paris Lodron University of Salzburg) and VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium).
Students of TECMAN will be awarded the academic degree of “Master of Science”, abbreviated “MSc”, jointly by PLUS (Paris Lodron University of Salzburg) and AAU (Aalborg Universitet, Denmark).
For completing the track ICT4D, the students are awarded the academic degree of “Master of Science”, abbreviated “MSc”, with another corresponding degree awarded by WU (Wageningen University).
The aim of the programme is to train leaders in the following core competencies of this study programme:
- Digital technologies and their developments
- Policy and innovation Business and management
- Digital communication and culture(s) in Europe
- Human, social and economic development
- Ethics and social responsibility
Thanks to the financial support of the European Union, the organisers are able to offer many scholarships, comprehensive of fees, support for travel and installation, and a monthly contribution for subsistence of 1000 euros.
For the new track, DCLead is also looking for partners that can host its students for an internship of three months, and that contribute to the work of the consortium by providing advice on how to update its curriculum to best prepare its graduates in their professional careers.
