La línea de matemáticas avanzada para el control y los sistemas dinámicos del Grupo de Automática de la Universidad Nacional (Gaunal) de la Fac. de Minas de la UN sede Medellín invita a las exposiciones:

Graph based representation and decomposition of large-scale sytems: complexity and escalability of the approach

For large-scale systems, complexity is usually related to the dynamics and interactions of the variables involved in the system operation, the high amount of such variables and the computational burden tha posses their control. Graph theory based representation of large-scale systems has provided the methods and techniques for decomposing the system and both evaluating the complexity and scalability of the decomposition problem. This presentation aims to provide insight about the complexity of the graph based decomposition problem with simulation results for real life networks compared to networks proposed with given relationships.

Distributed cooperative systems: Preliminar results derived from the channel characteristics model and the case study

In a first part, the main characteristics of the communication channel in a distributed cooperative system, i.e networked control system are presented, in order to determinate which of them degrades the performance of the system in a greater proportion. In the second part, a inverter based microgrid is presented as a case study.
